I just have to declare this to the world – I love kale! One of my favourite ways to have kale is with butternut squash soup. But this recipe is very easy, quick, and tasty. I think kale chips are possibly all the rage at the moment, I have seen them on lots of blogs in the past year. So here’s another one to add. This is a no fuss recipe – no measuring required!
Preheat the oven to 180C. Put as much or as little kale on a baking sheet as you’d like. Put it in a clump in the middle of the baking sheet, drizzle a little bit of olive oil on. You only want enough to lightly coat each kale leaf, so be sparing at first and add a bit more if you need to.
Toss the kale to evenly coat with oil and spread out in a single layer on the baking sheet. Here you can add whatever sort of seasoning you want! I opt for the old standard of salt and pepper. But things like cayenne pepper or a bit of oregano would be lovely as well!
Bake for 10-15 minutes until they look crispy and slightly browned. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don’t over bake! And enjoy! They will be crispy and delicious, not to mention packed with nutrition!
